A Minnesota state worker was reported to be arrested after allegedly damaging multiple Teslas for around $20,000 while vandalizing them weeks after former Vice Presidential candidate Gov.
Tim Walz publicly criticized Tesla’s stock performance. Minnesota Governor and VP candidate Tim Walz openly ridiculed the electric vehicle company following their stock drop.
A Minnesota fiscal policy analyst named Dylan Bryan Adams aged 33 was arrested on suspicion of vandalizing multiple Teslas in Minneapolis during a dog walk according to vehicle surveillance footage reported by a crime watch account from Minnesota.
The watchdog group reported Friday that Adams approached a Tesla vehicle while walking his dog and dragged his keys along its side to remove what seemed to be paint from the electric car.
Every video shared by the crime watch account contained the same dog.
Footage emerged displaying an individual presumed to be Adams forcefully etching into two separate Tesla cars.
A spokesperson from Governor Walz’s office confirmed Friday night that Adams, who works at Minnesota’s Department of Human Services, holds no political appointment within the administration.
According to the representative, the person accused of vandalism is among Minnesota’s more than 40,000 state employees. His charges are reportedly pending.
A month after Walz joked about Tesla’s stock decline giving him joy during a Wisconsin rally Walz has been suspected of arrest.

The FBI started a task force last month to combat attacks on Tesla because it classifies these incidents as domestic terrorism after a rise in targeted attacks related to Musk’s leadership of President Trump’s cost-cutting Department of Environmental Efficiency.
