BREAKING: Easter Truce Broken: Ukraine and Russia Point Fingers
Russia and Ukraine have exchanged accusations regarding violations of a 30-hour “Easter truce” which the Russian president declared on Saturday.
More than 46 Russian attacks struck Ukraine’s front line since Sunday morning according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The BBC has yet to independently confirm the accuracy of the mentioned statistics.
According to state media sources Russia’s defence ministry reported successfully resisting Ukrainian assaults while accusing Kyiv of initiating hundreds of drone and shell attacks.
On Saturday, Putin said there would be an end to all hostilities from 16: The announced cessation of hostilities began at 16:00 BST on Saturday and continued until 22:00 BST which was midnight in Moscow on Sunday. Kyiv said it would also adhere.
